Samuel's Seventh Photo Gallery

This group of photos takes us from early January through to the middle of March. During that time, Jennifer returned to both work and school, and Matthew took a month of parental leave. At the beginning of March, Sammy started day care. It seems to agree with him, except for that first week when he caught his first cold and proceeded to give it to his father.

We had visits from Grammy Lynne, Uncle Paul, and Sammy's cousins Doug and Scott. Sammy was, of course, on his best behavior.

He's got a bunch of favorite toys, including the sheep you see him chewing on here. He also loves his new exercise saucer, the "Portable Fun Ultrasaucer". We were sold both by the castle-themed toys and the fact that it folds up -- always an important consideration in our apartment.

Since he had been looking increasingly interested in watching us eat, we consulted the pediatrician and decided to start him on solid food. The first time was an adventure, witnessed by both parents and his uncle Mark. Eager anticipation turned to concerned confusion, but in the end, he seemed to enjoy it.
